You might think Easter is over, but actually, we should celebrate Easter every day. I read one article this week which suggested that the best way to allow Easter to continue in our lives this week is to share our faith journey with someone. I agree. We had our FAITH teams going out Tuesday night. At least three teams were able to share the Gospel. There is nothing more exciting.
Though we have a number of people vacationing this week, we do have a couple of rather exciting things going on this week. Please pray for 30 or so of our students and chaperones of our school, FBCS, as they are touring in Washington, D.C. They return Friday evening. Also, this weekend, we have several dozen of our RA boys and their dads headed to the State RA Congress. This is a weekend filled with exciting games and worship experiences culminating in Pinewood Derby Car races. Pray for our boys.
We are continuing our Easter emphasis Sunday. Our theme will be “So, What Now?” The Book of Acts tells us what happened next. The Book of Acts tells us the story of the beginning of the church.
Acts is the only history that we have in the New Testament. So, what did they do? What did those first disciples of Jesus do? What should we do? Let’s talk about that Sunday.
I am so glad that you are here! Let’s give our best in worship to God today.
